The Bristol Sarcoma Support Group was formed in the hope of providing a place for those affected by sarcoma to meet in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Its aim is to offer friendship and an outstretched hand because we are mostly people who are going through or have been through something similar to your experience.
The Group aims to meet on a regular basis on the third Monday of each month. The next meeting is on Monday 21st June between 4pm and 6pm with refreshments, please drop in at any time.
All meetings are to be held in
The Windsor Room, The Bristol General Hospital, Guinea Street, Bristol, BS1 6SY
Our Aims
To offer people affected by Sarcoma the chance to meet with fellow patients and/or carers for personal, non Medical information and emotional Support.
To promote the group to anyone affected by Sarcoma, irrespective of where they live or which hospital they attend.
To promote a safe & discreet environment for everyone who attends so they will feel comfortable in discussing any issues that concern them.
To hold meetings once a month, both informal group sessions & occasionally more structured sessions with invited speakers.
To provide support during cancer survivorship by like minded people.
