TV Presenter Julia Bradbury (pictured above atop Scafell Pike) had this to say when told of the event:
“The “Wainwright Bagger” challenge is a fantastic opportunity to bag sixteen of the Wainwrights in just one weekend, including the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike and at the same time raising money for The Sarcoma Trust.
The trek is challenging but very rewarding; when you reach the summits and en-route to the summits you are treated to some of the most stunning scenery in the UK. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this exciting new challenge event and wish The Sarcoma Trust good luck with this new venture.”
So don your walking boots and take up the challenge today, come by yourself, or with friends as a group and be amongst the first to take part in this brand new event.
